JerseyBike is not subsidized by any of the municipalities in which it maintains operations and relies on user subscriptions, sponsorships, and advertising to fund bike share operations. As of October 9, 2020, JerseyBike will no longer maintain operations in Hudson County. The managing partner of the program, P3 Global Management, has announced the termination of the program.
As of May 1, 2020, JerseyBike will no longer operate in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The permit that allowed JerseyBike to maintain operations in Liberty State Park expires on April 30, 2020. The State of New Jersey will be issuing a request for proposals for future bike share operations in Liberty State Park.

The easiest way to stay warm on a bike is to keep your core warm with layers. Layers will keep you warmer than just a jacket and will make adjusting to temperature changes easer.
